Nateshwar Dance Academy has taught Kathak in Durban for forty-six years, and alongside it Bollywood, the folk dances of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, and Dancercise. The awards show is where a year of classes meets the stage.

The Company, the academy's performing wing, headlines both shows beside the students receiving this year's awards.

Before you book

Is the programme the same at both shows?

Yes. The 15:00 matinee and the 19:00 evening show carry the same programme, so pick the time that suits your family.

Can I sit with my family?

Yes. Seats are reserved, so choose seats next to each other on the plan at checkout. Book early for the front and centre of the house.

Are there wheelchair seats?

Eight level-access seats at R150, each with a companion seat beside it. Choose them on the plan.

How do I get my tickets?

By email as soon as you pay, one PDF with its own QR code per seat. Show it on your phone at the door, print it, or forward one to whoever is meeting you there.

What if my card is declined?

Nothing is charged and your seats stay held for the rest of the 20 minutes, so you can try another card or payment method without choosing them again.

What does it cost to book?

R150, R200 or R250 a seat, and nothing more. There are no booking fees.
